Saturday is the new Sunday.
I'd been taken to Bahrain on Friday as a colleague needed to send some money home. We went to the pub afterwards. I believe it is what you do.
So, knackered, I had a lie in on Saturday morning. I went down to the sea around midday.
The front was empty.
Blessed with the best air con I have ever encountered, it was only today that I truly appreciated what the midday sun was really like.
The front was empty because the locals know the score.
Although I sat in the shade my shirt was sodden by the time I returned to my apartment five minutes away.
